WANNA RIDE to Vista View Park?

This is the teaser for the ride:
ROBBINS PARK
TO
VISTA VIEW PARK

This week's ride destination will be Vista View Park. When you first see the park it is hard to imagine that just a few short years ago this entire area was nothing more than a seventy foot high pile of trash. Now you will find a generous sized lake with a marked race course for the remote controlled power boat racers. Also in the park at the TOP OF THE HILL you'll be likely to see fan-powered parachute-winged flying machines that are always fun and interesting to watch while they take off and land. Of course in order to see them up close you'll have to pedal your way up the steep roadway that leads to the top of the hill. a challenge that not all riders are willing to take, but the views from up top are spectacular.

I did not make it up the hill again..but I made it half way. Total miles was 12.28. I finally got my odometer fixed..I actually had to upgrade. Since I didn't buy it all that long ago..518 miles..Lee's just charged me the difference. I had my derailer straitened, the back tire trued up, brakes aligned, bought sunglasses to wear over my contacts, a eyeglass mirror and bike shorts too.
I will conquer that hill some day..I'm just gonna keep plugging at it.

You'll be the little bicyclist that could when you get up that hill!

I can see why they call the park Vista View - it's lovely!
