Outsourcing

I hate insurance companies anyway, but yesterday I called a provider help line and I think it was outsourced to India. The rep I got barely spoke english and asked me for my sex ID. ?what? "May I have your sex id" "uhhh .....female?" "No, I want your sex ID." "Do you mean tax ID?" "Yes your sex id" And they are wondering why I'm banging my head on the desk.
