Rode down to Starbucks this morning.....

and got laughed at by bike snobs. First I couldn't get the kick stand to work at first and they snickered. Then when I walked inside I heard one of them say "Is that a real bike" and another said something smart about my saddle. One went and moved his bike away from mine like mine had cuties or was going to fall on his. You know what , I don't care, I think after all I'm going thru right now with my health and the surgery getting closer, I think I should get a gold star for getting out of bed and getting on my "pretend" bike.
I asked W yesterday if he wanted to meet me for coffee. He asked me when, I said 7:30 and he laughed at me. He said he doesn't get up that early to go to work.
