Howdy Handsome

I'm riding my bike home from work and I have to wait for traffic to cross Booth St and waiting with me is a man with a dog. So I say "howdy, handsome" and give the dog my hand and the guy turns around like WTF. I say "I'm talking to the dog" and ride on across the street.
