Walking in the rain and other adventures.
I had a Sunday off. That's pretty unusual in itself. So I started the day by going down to the salon and camping out to wait for my hairdresser so I would be the first in her chair. Rode my bike to and from and hit a milestone on the way home. I almost made it up the hill before I ran outta gas and had to walk the bike.
Mom and I walked down to Starbucks and then over to Whole Foods. Picked up my favorite coffee and some Sheep's milk yogurt. Saw the Yummy Dairy Guy. Didn't get to speak to him, he was busy.
Then Mom and I had this brilliant idea to go down to the Rio and buy these shoes that were on sale. Oddly enough the buses don't run that way on the weekends. So we called W and asked if we could catch a ride with him since he was going thata way and he told us to get the Murano. So walking over to W's it started raining. It was a little windy but never really rained hard and its nice to walk in the rain. So while at the Rio we went to Joes Crab House for drinks and appetizers.
Then we came home for Mexican Seafood Stew.....mmm yummy.

I haven't ridden a bike since I was about 10 (which is right about when I actually learned how) for some reason I just could NOT for the life of me get the balance thing down - I rode my bike for that one summer then my sister borrowed it and I never saw it again... I haven't ridden a bike since... the last time I tried was about 8 years ago - and it was like I was right back at 9 years old again - completely unable to get more than a foot without tipping over hehehe
so it's true a person really CAN forget how to ride a bike... I'm living proof!!
Wow, this post has two of the things I like: walking in the rain and seafood!
Thanks for linking to me. I'll be back for more. :-)
