The Date Finally happened....

on Saturday Night.
It was my first date since the unfortunate mirage.
I did meet 2 guys for coffee but since I paid for my own coffee I didn't consider it a date.
One of those guys really wigged out when I didn't answer his email the next week in a timely fashion. I happened to be in the hospital getting surgery at the time. He sent me this scorching email that I just didn't bother to answer.

This one was a real date, He picked me up at my home and we drove to that Tex-Mex place I like so much. He liked it too.

This is where I think what I consider a date and what men consider a date don't correspond.
On my date its like a trying on period. You find out about each other and see if there is an attraction. And if there is you make plans to see each other again.

It seems guys think a date is that they pay for dinner and to reciprocate I sleep with them. If the sex wasn't so terrible you might call them again for a bootee call.

I have been approached before this one but could tell from the conversations on the phone (not counting the two I met for coffee)that's pretty much what they had in mind and didn't encourage further communication. This one I didn't get that feeling from him.

So to sum it all up. We had a lovely dinner and a make out session on the couch but he didn't get laid and I haven't heard from him.

Maybe I just think too much or maybe Cheyenne should have bit him.

I'm glad you had a nice dinner. Ugh.. MEN! One track mind, huh? Whatever happened to "gentlemen?"
