Quiet Christmas

Mom and I really didn't celebrate Christmas this year. We didn't exchange gifts. We didn't have a big fancy dinner with family. We had a really quiet day.

I called Sean to wish him Happy Christmas. I woke him up and he didn't want to talk long.

I called Rachael's cell and got the strange voice mail from the strange man her father got the phone from. (don't ask me) But I didn't get to talk to Rachael.

Amy, Wade, John and Keith called here to talk to Mom mostly. Mom called Gary.

I did some pro training for work, and we watched BBC America until they lost their mind, and put on a Peter Sellers Movie. So we watched a Net Flick called "Ask the Dust" It had Colin Farrel and Selma Hayak in it and was pretty good.

Mom's all hyped up about the move to Florida and she even checked out the Visionworks I can transfer to while she was there. We aren't planning to move until February 2008.

I did rest so maybe I won't have to wear the ugly shoes for a few days. (The shoes that hold the orthotic inserts the podiatrist made me, I only will be caught dead in them when my feet really, really hurt)

Y'all may not see me posting much for a bit. Until the end of the year we will be super busy. I do have this coming Thursday and Friday off tho.

My Christmas Bootie:

bracelet from Melanie

candy dish and candy from Fe

mug and candy from Dr Singh

a snowman pin from Sherry

A Pennys gift card from Kim at the Christmas Party I used to buy work blouses.

A new pair of eyeglasses from Ecca

A big ole honking zit on my lip from Fate

A depleted bank account from "I should have known better"
