Three events
The year I was born:
February 6 - Cuba cuts off the normal water supply to the United States Guantanamo Bay Naval Base, in reprisal for the U.S. seizure 4 days earlier of 4 Cuban fishing boats off the coast of Florida.

I wasn't born yet on this one:
# 1959 - Jack Kilby of Texas Instruments filed the first patent for an integrated circuit.

My great grandfather wasn't even born when this happened:
1862 - American Civil War: Ulysses S. Grant gives the United States its first victory of the war, by capturing Fort Henry, Tennessee, known as the Battle of Fort Henry.

Two births

# 1912 - Eva Braun, German mistress of Adolf Hitler (d. 1945) ewww..imagine being that close to evil. I can see I'm not the only one with the disability when it comes to picking a mate.

1916 - John Crank, British mathematician (d. 2006)...see we are not all bad at math.
