Seven things I didn't know last Sunday

Gaithersburg has installed talking crosswalks. The drivers still try to run you down tho.

Riding the stationary bike is nothing like trying to dragging your fat ass up a hill on a real bike.

I guess they are going to transfer me as a EWS. I was informed that I have to take a $0.70 cut in pay when we move. The cap on a EWS hourly rate in Florida is 13.13 unless you have your license.

I had asked for a Saturday off in August to attend the Bi-Annual National Powwow. I asked for it as my day off because there is a black out period that runs from July 22 to Labor Day because of Back to school promotions. You can't use personal days or vacation days during the black out. The GM denied my request and put a copy of the Blackout memo on my schedule but I don't think he read it or my request because..... Fe and the GM took yesterday off. So my understanding is you have to adhere to the blackout memo if your not the RM or the GM...guess its good to be king. Only 58 more days.

The screening process to get an apartment is a lot harder in Florida than it is here in Maryland. They checked my credit (which isn't great thanks to R.A.H. ) and my criminal record (thats clean)and we will know if we have a place to live by Tuesday.

I got 100% on my c-stats for June...that means I AM ranked number 1.....woohoo..I hope I get a gold badge now.

Channel is going to buy my bike from me the 3rd week in September. That way we don't have to move it and I can purchase another when I get to Florida.

Congratulations on the 100% on your c-stats for June! Did you get that gold badge yet? And if not - what's the hold up???

If you don't get a gold star, I say you steal one!
