Seven things I didn't know last Sunday

I still have trouble with the weathermen down here. Chilly and 80 degrees in the same sentence just doesn't compute. I miss Topper.

Pembroke does go all the way to Flamingo and its a nicer drive but I have to go to Hollywood first to get my coffee at Dunkin Donuts.

The toll roads in Florida are beyond odd.. All other tolls I've been on either charge you a flat fee to get on or give you a ticket and charge your use at exit. Florida just sets up tolls willy nilly. We paid to get on. Half way there we had to pay again and when we exited there was a sign that it was the last exit before toll.

If I am scheduled to leave at 5, I can leave at 5 until I become retail manager, then I will be expected to stay.

Lina (my new friend from OAK) took the bus to Visionworks to meet me. The bus was late picking her up at the stop and it took an hour to go the 7 miles to Flamingo. I think I'll skip the bus idea and buy a Vespa.

I thought Miami airport had it bad with a abbreviation of MIA, but Sioux City Iowa's abbreviation is SUX.
