Seven things I didn't know last Sunday

I am not a criminal. My criminal background check came back clean so being the Retail manager is becoming a reality. Hector and I need to discuss salary next.

When you mail a check to my Maryland bank because your employer messed up the direct deposit, you must write on the deposit slip "Payroll Check" otherwise they hold part of it and bounce checks.

It actually does get chilly here. Last night it went down to 60. I had to wear my flannel bathrobe to walk the dogs. The golfers waved at me while I was walking the dogs in my bathrobe and jammies.*blushing*

I found out my calves hurt when I dance in my chucks because I'm bouncy. I'm looking at a pair of dance shoes with a little heel. I also heard from a dancer to put my dancing shoes (that hurt my feet) in the freezer. I'm gonna try that trick on Thursday.

I smell funny when I eat beef.

We finally found something we can take the dogs to. The Riverwalk in Ft Lauderdale has a Sunday Jazz brunch on the New River. Its only the first Sunday of the month. I was starting to think Florida didn't like dogs. The dog beach is never going to work out for us..we are morning people not evening people.

Mom didn't want to register to vote because she felt she would be called for jury duty. Wade and I talked her into it because she didn't want to miss the presidential election. She did and was promptly called up for jury duty. So prompt they sent it with her voter registration card. She has to get out of it because its in Ft Lauderdale at 7:45am. She would have to be on the TriRail at 5 am to get there. I have the car so she'd have to do the public transportation thing.
