Seven things I didn't know last Sunday

The Sacred Egyptian Ibis is flying around here loose thanks to Katrina.

Someone I used to date in Maryland moved to Miami a few months before us. We didn't keep in touch till last week and he was surprised I moved here. Now he wants to date me again because its "Fate"

I can afford a new car and I put a deposit on one. I should get it January or February when they make it to this country. I ordered yellow.

The Beach at Virginia key is a great place to take the dogs but there isn't a bathroom. The water is a little dirty too but I grew up on Cuckold Creek. Couldn't be much dirtier than that.

Now that I have text on my phone I have been awakened at 3:30 on Saturday morning with someone calling off (Did you ever think of calling off by text?) and 4:30 Sunday morning with instructions to care for someones(you know who you are) dogs because they stayed out drinking. Maybe text wasn't such a great idea.

Cassava Chips are great for dipping in my Lemon Hummus and have 1/2 the salt. Plantain chips are good too. I had to move to South Florida to get my favorite Hummus.

Wade finished his certification and is getting his Home Inspection business off the ground. He has a website and everything. I was gonna show you his new business card but he gets funny about giving out too much info on my blog.

I say if he's date worthy--go with it! LOL

When we first moved to Cuckold Creek in the 50's the water was brackish. Over the years it became polluted--the grass shrimp and seaweed disappeared as a result. I didn't see anything alive in that bay at Key Virginia either.

Fate? That's a pretty weak line. No. That's a VERY weak line.
