To make up for me being lazy all week.

I know its very lazy of me just to post cartoons all week.

My week was tiring.

I was off Sunday and I'm off today, so I got a taste of what you (people who work real jobs) do in a regular work week.
It was hard, by Wednesday I was dragging my ass. I closed Wednesday night and was feeling a little funky. Thursday I really felt bad and convinced Flip to let me leave an hour early. I went to bed at 8:30 that night too. Friday I didn't have to be at work until 2.
I went in a little early to deposit my check (Direct deposit still not working which means I can't use my money until Wednesday)
Since I had such a short day I decided to torture myself and wear the much loved but never broke in Etienne pumps. I managed to keep them on for 8.5 hours with much complaining.
I had not heard from the re-dater by Tuesday night but he called after his class just to tell me he was tired and not going to disappear for another year. I talked to him again on Friday morning. This is good news, better call back rate than my last 3 dates (one of those being the re-dater himself).
I have today off but I am broke. I got paid but can't access my money. I would have been better served to go to Publix and cash my check and paid them the 3 dollar fee and deposited cash. Not sure If you have to spend 10% to do that tho. Never mind, this is the last time I should have to do this. Even the most incompetent payroll employee should be able to get a direct deposit started in 12 weeks, don't ya think?
So what do you do in Paradise with no money..go to the beach. There is also a free car show in Young Circle so I think we'll go there first. The sand and salt water should help my blisters and swollen feet.

Oh...Chickens run around loose on The Keys but I don't think its a common site in Miami.

12 weeks?
Oh, I dunno......if it's a sign of competency to have it not figured out in 12 weeks whatEVER shall I say about our finance department who've yet to get me a total budget report since--(drumroll please....) July.

G'head and count that on your fingers.....I had to. LOL

I hope that both you and your feet are feeling better now! I find it rather difficult to believe that it's taking so long to get your direct deposit set up, that's just deplorable!
