Seven things I didn't know last Sunday

There is a guy on The orioles named Aubrey Huff. We think he may have played on the Marlins b4 too. So when the Latinos are teasing me about my weird name they never heard before, they are just teasing.



A saw a Hummer limo on the turnpike. Thats not unusual in So. Florida. What was unusual is that it was towing a u haul trailer.

When driving on 575 I saw a exit for Hiatus road. so when I was going to meet Ginny and Eddie S. for drinks in Pembroke Pines I thought I could go that way. There is a Hiatus road that intersects Pines Blvd. There was one little problem...A canal. Yup Hiatus doesn't connect unless you have an amphibious vehicle.


I saw a homeless man sitting on a bus bench with his grocery cart and coat in 95 degree heat. He was dirty and I can only imagine smelly but he had his ipod and was jamming away. So. Florida must be doing ok if even the homeless can have ipods.


Our inventory went really well. We were over in count in Frames and Contacts. We did have a little shrink in lenses...just $85.00. That works out to about one pair of lenses missing.

I met Ginny at the gym in Pines on Thursday and after our workout we hit the hot tub. I don't have a suitable suit for the gym so I wore a black cotton Cami over my tankini. There was so much chlorine in the hot tub it bleached my Cami brown.

Pembroke Park has the highest crime rate in Broward County. Pembroke Pines is where I used to work and Ginny Lives, not the same place. Hollywood's crime rate isn't bad either.
