Seven things I didn't know last Sunday

According to my friend English Dave my recent relief from GURD and heartburn is probably not due to the fact I lost weigh and am eating better but that I stopped drinking pop.

I was in NC too long. When I saw this contraption behind my campsite I thought it was a very kewl BBQ pit.

I did outsmart the raccoons this camping trip. I managed to keep my food from the bear too. I did lose my trail mix to the squirrels tho.

Camping in Florida in the summer requires a fan. Jeanette loaned me a fan this last trip since we had electric on the site. The next trip there is no electric available but I found a battery operated fan. It takes 8 D batteries and has a 3000 hour battery life. It cuts off after 8 hours. I ordered it yesterday so I hope its here in time.

Fridays have been pretty slow in the store because the former doctor only worked 12-4:15. The new Doctor is working 7 days a week and 9-6:30 M-F. Friday we beat comp by 1200. comp=last years sales.

I'm the first Wanna Do to see a bear on one of our camping trips. According to Phil.

Carlos had to do the Tuesday conference call because I was on vacation. He made notes and one of the notes was all managers were required to work the 4th of July. The fourth of July is one of our paid holidays. Hourly employees get time and 1/2 for working a holiday. Salaried employees don't. On Thursday as I was making the schedule a fax came thru saying we don't have to work after all. I have a Saturday off without having to use my vacation..Yahooooooooo
