Sunday Biking Adventure on West Organge Trail

The county of Orange really did a great job on this trail. Its part of the rails to trails system. Its 22 miles from Killarney Station to Welch Road.
English Dave and I cought it at the Clarcona Horseman's Park and rode to Winter Garden. Our ride was 22.8 miles round trip. We did a little detour to see Lake Apopka.
Winter Garden is absolutely lovely. We stopped to have lunch at Moon Cricket Grill. I had the Folley Island Grits and Shrimp and Dave had a burger. Then we went to the Historical Museum and checked out the caboose.
It was hot but a lovely ride..nice shaded areas and lots of benches for resting. Its hilly out there so I needed rest often. Dave was pleasant company and so patient with my slow going up hill.
Afterward we went down to the spring. I forgot to pack bike shorts so hanging out in my tube with my butt in the cold water was just what I needed.
