Big Plans that really didn't pan out.

This weekend was the SoFlex..its a big Lindy Hop gathering that people come from all over to attend.
Thursday was the unofficial start. We met and danced with a lot of nice people from all over. One guy from California and a young man from NC stood out. I had to work Friday so we only stayed till Midnight. but planned to attend all the dances all weekend.
Friday I had to work till 8 and felt unwell so we didn't go.
Saturday I got off at 4 and Whispy was waiting in the go-buggie to take the dogs to the park. We then had plans to attend a big screen showing of Gretta Garbo in "The flesh and the Devil" after the silent movie we were going to attend the dance but this time it was Whispy not feeling well. Hollywood was having their art walk so we walked around Downtown Hollywood till 11 instead.
I met a painter that puts bicycles in all his works but doesn't ride..I'm talking him into attending one of our rides but he has to get a bike.
We met a lot of nice people at the movie and we may have got some cyclists to join us on our Sunday rides.
Sunday we intended to ride at 7. Then I had to work from 12-5 and then attend the dance.
Woke up tired, went outside to greet the sunrise saw it was windy..called off the ride and went back to bed. I was just looking online and tonight's dance is $25.00 a person..thats just out of my budget so its probably a no go again.
It seems all weekend our want to dos were greater than our able to dos
