This weeks theme is Spike

A Few Years ago I used to watch a cable channel a lot. It had Star Trek NG and CSI marathons on Friday night. Since I was a happily married woman at the time, I was content to sit and watch CSI repeats on Friday nights.

I can't remember what the name of the channel was but at some point they decided to change the name to SPIKE TV. OK, I guess it was a guys channel, they did show wrestling on it occasionally. What I thought of when they said Spike, was spiking the football or Vlad the Impaler.
Well someone out there in Famous land with a ego the size of Texas decide to sue the channel for the use of his name. I think his mind must have been warped to think his name had anything to do with a mans channel. Eventually he dropped his lawsuit and the name change went off as planned.
So if I was to use this line of thinking...after all I am famous too, I have a blog.....I think I will send a cease and desist order to Minute Rice. The name just sounds too close to Last Minute Lyn.

I think I will leave Loretta Lynn out of it since she uses two n's.

I will think of this incident from now on every time I hear the word Spike.
I've been told I'm opinionated..So this is my opinion.
