Valentines Day?

Hardly noticed
Nobody was able to make it into work, but Anna and I because of the ice storm.
Those pictures below: That's not snow, but 5 inched of sleet.
I had to rush into work before 10 to make sure we had the store open, just to be told we were opening 2 hours late. I was scheduled for 11am, but got the call the opening person was stuck. I had to come back and shower (when I said rush, I meant rush)
Walking in 5 inches of sleet is like walking in glass beads.
The Doctor managed to make it to work. The Lab tech made it in. None of the other employees or managers did tho.
We had 3 contact lense follow-ups and one exam. I adjusted 3 pairs of glasses.
I sold one pair of glasses and two sets of contact lenses.
The doctor was nice enough to buy Anna and I lunch.
Anna had to leave at 3:30 and I finally got the word at 4:30 to close at 5.
I had to chase the Lab guy out of the store, he wanted to work until 6.
Walking home was worse. The temps dropped and everything was ice. I had to walk in the roads because none of the sidewalks were clear. And it was bitter cold.

Ack!

No wonder the snowman was not to be found!

Better it shoulda been snow.
Ya poor things.....awful tough to make snowmens and snowangels in the sleetballs.

Happy day after Valentines--may you melt soon!
