Saturday night Dinner

Shashi invited Mom and I to dinner but we had to decline. Gopal smokes and the way our allergies have been we can't be in a house with smoke. Mom went to dinner over her house about 6 months ago and was sick for 3 days after.

Shashi kept asking why we couldn't come so we had to tell her but we suggested going out to a restaurant.

Shashi really wanted to cook for us so she suggested she make the food but we eat it here.

Shashi made chic peas and a tofu dish, naan and the dessert. She even made a low salt version of the chic peas for me. Mom made a pork roast and a salad and rice.

Everything was wonderful and we had a great time.

On a side note: Mom thinks chick peas are spelled this way and I think its chic peas..anyone know for sure?
