Informal restaurant review

After work last night, Mom and I went out with her friend Mary Jo. Being Fathers day, our original pick for dinner had a 30 minute wait and no waiting area inside so we went searching for a table. It was too hot to sit outside. We ended up at Caspian Kabobs. We should have just waited outside it would have been cooler because either they didn't have air or didn't turn it on. The waitress didn't elaborate about it. The food was good, the ice melted in all the drinks before they even reached the table. The waitress said the glasses are kept right next to the ovens and the warm glasses melt the ice. I had a gyro and it was very good. for dessert I got the Persian Ice Cream and that was good too. The heat was the only complaint really and if its hot shouldn't you keep your glasses away from the ovens?
After dinner we went by Whole Foods to walk some of that meal off. I bought these candies called Ginger Chews. I often have trouble with my stomach because of the Graves and ginger works to settle your tummy but I don't like the taste of candied ginger. I do like the pickled ginger that you get with Sushi and I like cooked ginger just don't like candied ginger. These candies are awesome though.
Whole Foods was giving away these little fans (Like the ones you used to see in old Southern Churches) Card stock on a pop sickle stick. So walking home we were fanning ourselves with our little fans.
