Not the day I had planned

I got up at 8:30 and got dressed and went out to get on my bike and it was pouring. So I waited and checked every couple of minutes, still pouring. Then I checked every half hour and it was still pouring. Finally it let up around 1 pm and I rode down to Giant. I had forgotten if you ride on wet streets you get a streak of water up your back. Felt good tho.
While I was waiting I made a bracelet. I would scan it if my computer wasn't whacking out on me.
It may be from the power loses, my computers Bios something or other died about a year ago. So whenever we lose power the computer thinks it 2000.
I bathed my puppy and watched a movie "New World" It was okay I just wonder what a nice Native girl would want with a smelly white man? Finally a movie that shows how dirty and petty and ugly those men really were.
So this morning I planned to ride down to WF's for breakfast and before I could get started the GM called and she couldn't get to work on time because of Flooding and downed trees so could I open. So once again my ride is postponed. I rush to get to work and meet the GM leaving for the bank, she made it to work and could I come back at noon as scheduled. Why didn't she call me before I walked over there? She says she didn't want to disturb Mom but if she called my cell she wouldn't have. And it wouldn't have cost her or me anything since we both have Verizon,? So now I'm sweaty and hot under the collar. I can't ride cause then I would have to reshower and dress again so here I am stuck until 11:30.
