I hate Verizon
I already told y'all about them lying and getting my hopes up about getting a new phone in October.
So today I go to the Verizon Wireless store in the Circuit City. I tell her what the P O C phone I had was doing, and she quotes me a price for a new phone at 120.00. I except and she talks me into an accessory kit for 16.00 too. Then when she goes to ring it up she says oops the price I quoted was wrong its 157.00. I told her I wanted to pay the 120.00 and she tells me she can't do anything about that, I can pay the new price or go somewhere else.
Then she had to call Wade who was supposed to be taken off this account 2 1/2 months ago when we assumed his contract.
Then she couldn't get the phone activated and had me calling to activate it myself.
3 hours later and this is my second phone call to customer service. They had to call Wade 2 more times. They had to call Mom 2 more times and they have the nerve to tell me they are going to charge me $20.00 to switch phones on my account.
After much cursing they decided to rethink that position.
My phone still isn't activated yet tho. She just came back on the phone to tell me I have to wait 2 more hours. Unbelievably she asked for my phone number again. I snottily asked her why she couldn't write it down the 4 times I gave it to her already. Obviously they aren't capable of doing that.
So I spent too much money on a plastic, metal and wire thing. Its not a cell phone until Verizon gets their heads out of their asses.
I have to go into work from 6-8. We have been getting very busy in the evenings and Fe and the disgruntled one who moves slowly a part timer are scheduled. I'm not sure I'm feeling very customer service oriented today.
