Ten things I have already learned about Florida:
1. Don't be surprised. There are spiders everywhere. There are geccos everywhere, there are white herons everywhere, there are blue herons everywhere, there are sand cranes flying everywhere singing a garbled "I'm being choked" awk sound.
2. Parasites grow on trees.
3. Moss grows on trees.
4. Parasites grow on moss on trees.
5. Ferns grow in the nooks and crannies of palm trees.
6. There are two seasons: Wet and Dry. Temperature doesn't count.
7. Growing and planting season is June through October.....which is also the wet season. duh
8. The water tastes "brown".....is that a taste?
9. Visiting Grandma takes all day. It's a big state.
10. I love it.
