Update: Romeo's days of searching for love are over. The alligator wrestler is going to eat him, use his hide and make bookends out of his legs. Well at least he didn't end up in a landfill somewhere.

Oh, the news article did say that this species is not endangered; in fact, they are pretty much a nuisance in south Florida because there are so many.
