This weeks theme is SNAP

Yesterday was Easter, and even tho we don't celebrate, its a great excuse to call the kids and eat a ham.

I did the glaze for the Ham this year here is the recipe:

1 Cup packed brown sugar
5 Tablespoons balsamic vinegar
3 tablespoons Dijon Mustard
1/4 cup butter diced

We bought a Mash's Ham (low sodium) and it was fully cooked, so I cooked it 45 minutes with the glaze

To accompany the ham I rode my bike over to Famous Dave's and purchased quarts of their coleslaw and Potato salad. Famous Dave's makes Potato salad close to what Mom used to make. Its the dill pickles.

We also had green beans.

I'll give the whole meal 3 snaps in a Z formation.

The meal does sound awesome! I'm lucky...my boss got me a yummy smoked ham. All I had to do was pop it in the oven for a reheat! It was delicious.
Glad you had a great meal with the kids. :)
Have a good Monday!

Definitely a meal worthy of 3 Snaps in a Z-formation!!!

I love the balsamic vinegar & brown sugar/mustard combo idea for a ham glaze, I'm going to snap that in to my mental recipe file!

Yum, now I'm hungry for potato salad, and I agree it's the dill pickles. Have a great MM.

I love ham, but it doesn't love me anymore, so we had roast beef for Easter dinner.

Thanks for stopping by my place!
